A note about Food:

Because of its remoteness, all meals are provided by us and are served in the dining room of the historic wing ("old house") of Joy Farm. If you have any food allergies or weird restrictions/hangups/proclivities, it is imperative you let us know as soon as possible. Breakfast and Lunch are informal buffet style affairs while dinner is a communal activity. All cooking is done on site and from scratch, so generally speaking, only one entree option will be prepared for dinner (accompanied by a host of delicious sides of course) unless vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free requirements are requested ahead of time. If this is the case, we may silently roll our eyes but rest assured we will pander to your special needs with admirable  (even, dare I say, gracious) cheer.

Dining and Meals at the Retreat

There is no need to arrive bearing your own food but if you do, you may keep perishables in the kitchen refrigerators, provided there is space to accomodate the unwelcome imposition. Just kidding.

Other information about meal times may be found in the schedule section.  Check back here for tentative menu postings and special food offerings
